the looped string scarf looked like knots and colorful ribbons similar to the knited and crochet scarfs with fun fur.
what was showing the most was loops of ribbon and when you looked at the inner side ti was knots with loops away from knots
my friend had gotten it a craft show in north carolina and paid .00 and brought it to me to see if i could figure how to make it?

I’m sorry, I don’t have the answer to ur question, the only reason I answered was because I noticed no-one had answered ur question, i hate it when that happens 2 me w/ my questions, but the scarf u’re describing sounds gorgeous, try asking a crochet-teacher or something, if you google it you might find a lot of sites on crochet scarves, Good luck!!

I haven’t seen a scarf pattern out there like that, but there are some gorgeous scarf patterns on the knitty website.
