There is an interactive CD-ROM called Crochet Made Easy developed by the super cool folks at Coats and Clark and Red Heart Yarns. It goes over all the basics with very easy to follow written, audio, and video instructions. It also has instructions for several different types of projects. I got mine at Wal-mart for about 7 bucks.
Go to http://www.craftown.com/crolesson.htm. They have diagram and direction of how to.
i’tually you will be able to crochet doilies etc…i’ve actually seen a crochet for dummies….many how to crochet books in Walmart etc…actually it is really easy to do…start with a bright yard and big hook…eventually you’ll be doing doilies etc…have fun…i love it….
