Hello, this is a pattern I made up myself for a chain link crochet scarf. It makes up very quickly. I use two skeins of the boa yarn and size K crochet hook. Of course you can use any type of yarn but be aware that if it is thick yarn like chennielle you will have to alter the pattern.

    Foundation Row (row 1):
    Chain 31
Single crochet in 7th chain from hook
    Chain 5
    Skip 3 chain
    Single crochet in next chain
    Continue to end of chain
    You will have 5 loops

    Row 2:
    Chain 7
    Turn your work
    Single crochet in next loop
    Chain 5
    Single crochet in next loop
    Continue to end of row

Repeat row 2 until scarf is desire lenght.
I usually just do the 2 skeins and find the scarf is just fine.

You can add fringes if you like but I prefer the scarf as is. Less to get tangle up.

Good luck with your project. If you have questions concerning these directions please feel free to contact me.
    Happy 4th of July

I’m not sure if this is a "chain link" scarf, but here’s my favorite quick scarf pattern:

It is really fast and easy on size 15 needles.

    lionbrand.com
they have over 1,000 patterns-the only downpoint is that you have to register before you have access to them. but the registrations is free! when you’ve registered, just click on the pattern finder on the links over to the left, then just type in what you’re looking for! (i.e.: knit/crocheted chain link scarf)
    good luck!
