My 11 year old sister is the same. She is a brat. She acts nice when my parents are around but when it’s just me and her alone, OMG. She is so annoying and mean.
Parents don’t do anything. And she isn’t going to listen to you. Just forget about it and if she EVER asks for something again, remind her what she did.
Tell her you’re hurt. She may be 11, but she should be old enough to understand when things hurt people. Explain to her that you took the time to make her that hat and it would’ve made you happy to see her appreciate it. Explain to her your feelings. If that doesn’t work, try talking to your parents in private about the situation and how you feel.
Aw sweetheart all siblings can be hard to put up with. But you just have to tell her that it hurt your feelings and that you really wanted to make her something special and nice to keep. Then give her a chance to talk on why she did that.
